Refund & Shipping Policy

This policy describes refunds, shipping, and handling for SSD Grading subscriptions and professional grading orders.
1. Subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel anytime to stop future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.
2. Grading orders — before we receive your card
You may cancel a grading order for a full refund at any time before your card is received at our facility or a designated secured drop-off. Once received and intake begins, cancellation may be subject to an intake/handling fee.
3. Grading orders — after grading begins
Once professional grading has begun, order fees are non-refundable, because the work (inspection, grading, and encapsulation) has been performed. A grade you disagree with is not, by itself, grounds for a refund. If you believe an error was made, contact us to discuss a review.
4. Shipping & risk of loss
You are responsible for shipping your card to us using the method chosen at checkout (mail-in or a secured lockbox drop-off). Risk of loss during inbound transit is yours — we strongly recommend insured, tracked shipping. While your card is in our possession, it is insured up to its declared value and/or the coverage limit of the selected service tier. Return shipping is arranged by us and covered per the service tier.
5. Turnaround times
Estimated turnaround times begin when your card is received and verified, and are estimates only. Delays do not entitle you to a refund except where required by law or expressly stated for a given service tier.
6. Lost or damaged items
In the rare event a card is lost or damaged while in our care, our liability is limited to the declared value or the applicable service-tier coverage limit, as described in our Terms of Service. Contact us promptly to begin a claim.
7. How to request a refund
Email info@ssdgrading.com with your order number and reason. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
